#270 new defect - wrong answer

recombination add on components in stout data

Reported by: Gary J. Ferland Owned by: nobody
Priority: blocker Milestone: stout completion
Component: atomic/molecular data base Version: stout
Keywords: Cc:

Description

the historical code used recombination emissivitities from some papers, and build collisional - radiative models on its own. The stout database now has no way to include these stand-along recombination intensities.

examples are in prt_lines_lv1_li_ne.cpp. two things need to be done.

the fitted emissivites are for very low densities - there must be a correction for collisional suppression.

the emission must be added to the stout model.

very important for, example, C III 977 (Lya for that species)
